The 5 favorite Major League ballparks of Bobby Cox:
-
Petco Park
San Diego Padres
The weather is always great in San Diego, and I really like the new park. Unlike most of the other new ones, it's big and you get those tight NL-style games.
-
Yankee Stadium
New York Yankees
It's where I broke in, and I love all the history, even though they changed the stadium in the 1970s from when Mickey Mantle and everybody played there.
-
AT&T Park
San Francisco Giants
The cool weather is a nice switch in July, and you can't beat the view, with McCovey Cove behind right field. I also like that brick wall.
-
Wrigley Field
Chicago Cubs
I love the park, with the ivy and everything. But it's much better in the daytime, and we have two night games there this year.
-
Fenway Park
Boston Red Sox
It's old, real old. The clubhouse and the dugout and both tiny. But you have all the history and the Green Monster.
