On October 6, 2010, the Phillies' Roy Halladay did what only one pitcher had done in the postseason before: throw a no-hitter.
Joining Don Larsen in postseason pitching immortality, this collectible photo mint includes an 8" x 10" photo of Halladay pitching his way into history against the Reds and a pair of 1.5" diameter coins. The 24-karat gold plated coins represent Halladay's team, the Philadelphia Phillies, and where he threw his gem, Citizens Bank Park. The ballpark's scoreboard is faded into the photo.
A numbered certificate of authenticity is placed between the two coins. The certificate's caption reads: Second no-hitter in MLB post season history; Roy Halladay's second no hitter of the season (5/29/2010)
Limited in edition to 1,000 pieces, the photo mint is triple-matted in Phillies colors and placed in an attractive black molded wood frame. It's ready to hang out of the box!
Size: 13" x 16"
Weight: 5 lbs.
