Shea Stadium Photo Mint

This collectible photo mint includes an 8" x 10" photo of Shea Stadium and two 1.5" diameter coins, one of which contains authentic infield dirt from Shea Stadium.

The dirt was collected and carefully adhered to a bronze coin under the watchful eye of authenticator Deloitte & Touche. A second coin, made from 24-karat gold, includes the Mets logo and the year the franchise was established in New York.

A certificate of authenticity, which lists specifics about the ballpark and the collectible, is placed between the two coins.

Limited in edition to 5,000 pieces, each photomint comes with a numbered hologram that allows its owner to verify the dirt's authenticity and date of collection online at Major League Baseball's website.

The piece is double-matted in Mets colors and placed in an attractive black molded wood frame. It's ready to hang out of the box!

Shea Stadium Infield Dirt Coin

For those who don't want the entire photomint, the authenticated infield dirt from Shea Stadium is available on a single bronze coin. The infield dirt is on one side of the 1.5" diameter coin while an image of Shea Stadium is on the other side. The double-sided coin comes in a custom black velour jewelry box and is displayed and protected in an acrylic capsule. There were only 10,000 of these coins made and each comes with a certificate of authenticity.
