The home of the Mariners - their ballpark and city - is captured magnificently in these 28" x 22" posters by noted sports aerial photographer Mike Smith.
The spectacular overhead views of Safeco Field and downtown Seattle were taken at two distinct points in time: before the Kingdome was demolished and after it was replaced by Qwest Field.
From a vantage point above and behind first base, each poster provides a one-of-a-kind view of Seattle's ballpark, skyline and Puget Sound.

About the Photographer & Posters
Mike Smith is the world's foremost authority on aerial sports photography. A former private pilot, he has been taking photos of stadiums via helicopter since 1991. Smith's image of Safeco Field and the Kingdome was taken in 1999. His follow up image of Safeco and Qwest Field is from 2003. Measuring 28" wide by 22" high, both posters are printed on high-quality 80 lb. cover stock. |
