The Houston Astros 2012 Opening Day signature field collectible features a large glossy photo of Minute Maid Park with facsimile signatures superimposed on it.
The 10" x 18" ballpark photo was taken on April 6, 2012, when the Astros opened their season against the Rockies, and the signatures of all of Houston's starters on that day are placed near the players' respective positions on the field. Also included are signatures from most of the other players on the Astros' season opening roster. The name of each player is beneath their signature, of which there are 24.
Presented in a black wood frame, the entire piece measures 12" high by 20" wide and only 2,012 were made. Each is individually numbered below the Astros logo in the lower right-hand corner of the photo, which is protected by plexiglass.
