The Oakland A's 2012 Opening Day signature field collectible features a large glossy photo of the O.co Coliseum with facsimile signatures superimposed on it.
The 10" x 18" ballpark photo was taken on April 6, 2012, when the A's played their home opener against the Mariners, and the signatures of most of Oakland's starters on that day are placed in the players' respective positions on the field. Also included are signatures from most of the other players on the Athletics' season opening roster. The name of each player is beneath their signature, of which there are 24.
Presented in a black wood frame, the entire piece measures 12" high by 20" wide and only 2,012 were made. Each is individually numbered below the A's logo in the lower right-hand corner of the photo, which is protected by plexiglass.

2012 Oakland A's Signature Field Detail
The A's Signature Field contains facsimile signatures. A facsimile signature is an exact copy of a player's real autograph. So the signatures you see look real, but they are actually reproductions.
Signatures from 9 of the 10 A's home opening day starters and 15 additional team members are on the photo of O.co Coliseum. Those players are listed below:
Signatures of the starters: Brandon McCarthy, Kurt Suzuki, Jemile Weeks, Cliff Pennington, Josh Donaldson, Coco Crisp, Yoenis Cespedes, Josh Reddick, Jonny Gomes
* The signature of Kila Ka'aihue (1B) is missing because the manufacturer didn't have it on file
Signatures of others on the 2012 opening day roster: Brandon Allen, Grant Balfour, Daric Barton, Jerry Blevins, Dallas Braden, Bartolo Colon, Collin Cowgill, Fautino De Los Santos, Joey Devine, Brian Fuentes, Graham Godfrey, Tom Milone, Anthony Recker, Seth Smith, Eric Sogard
