The Toronto Blue Jays 2012 Opening Day signature field collectible features a large glossy photo of the Rogers Centre with facsimile signatures superimposed on it.
The 10" x 18" ballpark photo was taken on April 9, 2012, when the Blue Jays played their home opener against the Red Sox, and the signatures of all of Toronto's starters on that day are placed in the players' respective positions on the field. Also included are signatures from most of the other players on the Blue Jays' season opening roster. The name of each player is beneath their signature, of which there are 23.
Presented in a black wood frame, the entire piece measures 12" high by 20" wide and only 2,012 were made. Each is individually numbered below the Blue Jays logo in the lower right-hand corner of the photo, which is protected by plexiglass.
