The New York Mets 2012 Opening Day signature field collectible features a large glossy photo of Citi Field with facsimile signatures superimposed on it.
The 10" x 18" ballpark photo was taken on April 5, 2012, when the Mets opened their season against the Braves, and the signatures of all of New York's starters on that day are placed in the players' respective positions on the field. Also included are signatures from most of the other players on the Mets' season opening roster. The name of each player is beneath their signature, of which there are 23.
Presented in a black wood frame, the entire piece measures 12" high by 20" wide and only 2,012 were made. Each is individually numbered below the Mets logo in the lower right-hand corner of the photo, which is protected by plexiglass.
