The Washington Nationals 2012 Opening Day signature field collectible features a large glossy photo of Nationals Park with facsimile signatures superimposed on it.
The 10" x 18" ballpark photo was taken on April 12, 2012, when the Nationals played their home opener against the Reds, and the signatures of all of Washington's starters on that day are placed in the players' respective positions on the field. Also included are signatures from most of the other players on the Nationals' season opening roster. The name of each player is beneath their signature, of which there are 22.
Presented in a black wood frame, the entire piece measures 12" high by 20" wide and only 2,012 were made. Each is individually numbered below the Nationals logo in the lower right-hand corner of the photo, which is protected by plexiglass.
