The Chicago White Sox 2012 Opening Day signature field collectible features a large glossy photo of U.S. Cellular Field with facsimile signatures superimposed on it.
The 10" x 18" ballpark photo was taken on April 13, 2012, when the White Sox played their home opener against the Tigers, and the signatures of all of Chicago's starters are placed in the players' respective positions on the field. Also included are signatures from most of the other players on the White Sox's season opening roster. The name of each player is beneath their signature, of which there are 21.
Presented in a black wood frame, the entire piece measures 12" high by 20" wide and only 2,012 were made. Each is individually numbered below the White Sox logo in the lower right-hand corner of the photo, which is protected by plexiglass.
